Where can I read the Terms and Privacy Policy?

Where are they in the app?

1. Tap the gear at the top right of Today to open Settings
2. Tap "Terms of Use" or "Privacy Policy"

They open in your browser.
You also find both links at the bottom of the Partner screen.

What stays on my phone?

By default, everything stays on this phone: your reading, prayers, streak, and settings.

If you sign in, your notification choices, your last-read spot in the Bible tab, your XP, and your streak are also saved to your account so they can come back on a phone you have not used yet.
Your prayers only leave this phone if you separately turn on "Back up my prayers", scrambled before they leave your phone.
A backed-up prayer can also come back onto a phone that already has your key, the same way your reading spot, XP, and streak do.

The apps you block always stay on this phone.
Reading and prayer still work without an internet connection.

Can I stop the app from counting how I use it?

Yes, in version 1.0.5 and later.
The App Store version counts which tabs people open and which features they use.
It never includes what you read, pray, type or save, and it is never tied to your name.

1. Tap the gear at the top right of Today to open Settings
2. Tap "Privacy on this phone"
3. Turn off "Share anonymous usage"

When it is off, the app stops sending these counts.

What if I turn on Groups and People?

Groups and People is its own optional tab you turn on after you sign in.
Turning it on sends your profile (a name you pick, a short bio, a photo if you add one) to our server, so people in your group, people you follow, or people who follow you can see it.

Your group only ever learns whether you read and whether you prayed today, never what you read or what you prayed.
A bell asks you to come read and pray.
A cheer is a short line a groupmate picks from a list to encourage you, never something typed by hand.

Following, blocking, muting, and reporting someone also reach our server, the same way a group does.

How do I erase my data?

How do I report a problem with a reading or a prayer?

1. Tap the flag at the top of the reading or prayer screen
2. Pick "Typo", "Wrong meaning", or "Wrong reference"
3. Add a note if you want, then tap "Send report"
4. Finish sending it in the Mail app that opens

Mail not set up? The report is saved on your phone until it can send.
