Why won't Spiritualrot open, or why does it crash?

What should I try first?

1. Close Spiritualrot all the way, then open it again
2. Restart your iPhone
3. Check the App Store for a Spiritualrot update and install it
4. Free up some storage on your iPhone

Is it just the night screen?

If your night lock is on, Spiritualrot opens to a dark screen between midnight and 6 AM. It says "Shhh, Hart's sleepy 😴".

That is your night lock, not a crash. You can still tap "Emergency unlock" there.

In the morning, it may say "Read today's passage to open your apps". Tap "Begin today's reading" to start.

Should I delete the app and reinstall it?

No. Your reading history, streak, and XP are saved only on this iPhone. Deleting Spiritualrot erases them.

What should I tell Support?

If it still won't open, send feedback with:

• Your iPhone model and iOS version
• About when it started
• What you see when you try to open it
