Why are my apps still locked after I finished?

What does the lock say?

Open a locked app and read the top line.

• "You're done for today ✅": this is normal. The app saw you finish, and the open time it earned is used up. Only "Emergency unlock" shows.
• "You're done for now ✅": this is normal too. Nothing is left to do right now. It names when your next reading time starts. Only "Emergency unlock" shows.
• "Shhh, Hart's sleepy 😴": your night lock is on. Reading and praying does not open your apps until 6 AM.
• "Morning's here ☀️" with a "Begin today's reading" button: it is morning and your night lock is still on. Read and pray to open your apps.
• "Not so fast 👀" with a "Read and pray" button: the app has not counted your reading and prayer yet. Try the steps below.

How do I fix it?

1. Close Spiritualrot all the way, then open it again. It checks your lock every time it opens
2. Look at the top of Today. If it says "APPS LOCKED", something is still left
3. Tap the button under it. It says "Read", "Pray", or "Read and pray", so you can see what is left
4. Finish that part

Doing just the reading or just the prayer does not count as finished.

What else can I check?

• Open your iPhone's Settings, then Screen Time. Limits set there can also block apps
• Restart your iPhone, then open Spiritualrot again

What if I need my phone right now?

Tap "Emergency unlock" on the lock. It costs 5 XP.
