What counts as a day?

Read and pray at least once that day. That keeps your streak going.

What happens when I miss a day?

The app checks three things, in this order:

1. Your free day. Miss just one day and your streak keeps going. This works once a week
2. Shield of Faith. If you have one saved, it covers the missed day. Your streak stays safe
3. Streak reset. If neither one helps, your streak goes back to zero and you lose 35 XP, one time

Your History shows "Streak reset" when this happens.

What is a Shield of Faith?

It saves your streak when you miss a day. You earn it. It is never sold.

• Tap "Go deeper" on a passage after you already read and prayed that day. This fills your Shield of Faith bar
• Fill the bar all the way to earn one. You see "You earned a shield"
• You can save up to 2

To see your bar, open Today and tap "Your walk".

What do I see when it saves me?

You see "Your shield held". Your History shows "The shield held" on that day. You lose no XP.

Do days away cost XP too?

Yes, a little. After 2 full days with nothing done, you lose 10 XP for each extra day. It stops at 70 XP.

Your History shows "Quiet day" for one day, or how many "quiet days" in a row.

Can I lose rank?

A day with no reading and prayer can cost one rank star. Never in your first week, and never more than two a week.

Do I lose what I already did?

No. Your level never goes down. Your History keeps every reading and prayer.
