Why did my apps lock again after I finished?

Did a new reading time start?

On "Nudge", your apps stay open until your next reading time starts. Then they lock until you read and pray again.

Your pace sets how many reading times you get: once, twice, or three times a day.

Did your open time run out?

On "Doomscroll Killer" or "Brutal", your apps open for a set time each time you finish. Then they lock again.

"Brutal" gives you less time than "Doomscroll Killer". Each card under "How long apps open" shows the exact time.

When that time is used up, the lock tells you. If another reading time is coming later today, it says "You're done for now ✅" and names the time. If none are left today, it says "You're done for today ✅".

Did you finish both parts?

On "Nudge", doing just the reading or just the prayer opens your apps for a 30 minute short break. Then they lock until you finish the other part.

On "Doomscroll Killer" or "Brutal", each part earns half your time.

Today's button tells you what is left: "Read" or "Pray".

Is it night?

If your night lock is on, your apps lock at midnight. Reading and praying does not open them until 6 AM.

Did you use Emergency unlock?

"Emergency unlock" opens your apps for 15 minutes. Then they lock again. It costs 5 XP.

How do I change how long apps open?

1. Open Spiritualrot and tap the gear for Settings
2. Tap "Daily plan"
3. Open "How long apps open"
4. Pick "Nudge", "Doomscroll Killer", or "Brutal"
5. Tap "Save plan", then "Save"

You can also reach "Daily plan" from the Protect tab.

Picking a harder one asks you to confirm first. Tap "I am in" to keep it. It can lock your apps right away.

Picking an easier one starts tomorrow.
