What reading paths can I choose?

Short answer

Pick One Book at a Time, Meet Jesus, The Whole Bible Story, or Help With a Topic

What paths are there?

You pick a path when you set up the app. You can change it any time after.

  1. "One Book at a Time": stay in one book so the message stays clear
  2. "Meet Jesus": follow Jesus through Mark and John, then see the risen Jesus in Luke and the first days of Acts
  3. "The Whole Bible Story": see how the Bible's whole story leads to Christ
  4. "Help With a Topic": read whole passages about one real struggle

A fifth path, "Whole Bible in a Year", is still being finished. It is hidden for now, and it needs an app update to open.

Your path only picks what comes next. You can still read anywhere in the Bible.

How do I switch paths?

  1. Open the "Today" tab
  2. Tap the "READING PATH" card. No card? Tap "Choose your reading path"
  3. Tap the path you want
  4. Tap "Start this path" (or "Continue this path" if you started it before)
  5. If you see "Switch reading path?", tap "Start this path"

Your place in your old path is saved. Switching does not erase your streak, XP, or history.

When you switch paths, the Read step follows the path you selected. A reading you left open in another path does not change what comes next. Your earlier readings stay in your history.

Can I read a finished path again?

Yes. Open the reading path list, tap the finished path, then tap "Read again".

This starts at its first passage. Your earlier finished pass and reading history stay saved. Your XP and level stay saved too. If you leave the new pass halfway, return to the same path to continue from your saved place.

When you finish all the paths shown, you can read one again or open the Bible to read anywhere.

Why did a reading become smaller?

A long reading can become several smaller lessons. If you already finished that reading, its new parts count as done in your path. This change does not add XP or new entries to your reading history.

Some lessons share one connected sentence. In the lessons on Philippians 3:3 and 3:4-6, tap the linked passage to read the surrounding verses together.

Can I stop for a while?

Yes. In the same list, tap "Pause current path", then tap "Pause it". Your place is saved.

Why don't I see every path?

A path shows up once its readings and study notes are done. If one is hidden, the list shows "More paths are in review". See Why is a reading path missing?.
