How do I pray in Spiritualrot?

Start a prayer

1. Open Today and tap "Read and pray"
2. Tap "Pray"
3. Tap "Start prayer"

If you already read, the Today button just says "Pray".

You can read first or pray first, in any order. Whichever one you finish first shows its own "Done" right away.

Pick how you pray

Tap "Prayer choices" before you start. You get two ways to pray:

• "Guided": the app gives you words to pray
• "Own words": you pray in your own words

You can switch between them after you start too.

Pick how long

In "Prayer choices", tap the time button. Pick "1 min", "5 min", "30 min", or "1 hour".

Want another length? Set it with the plus and minus buttons, then tap "Use custom time". You can pick 1 to 120 minutes.

How the timer works

• "Guided" counts down and shows "Time remaining"
• "Own words" counts up from zero

When you hit your time, the timer does not stop you. It says "Keep praying".

Finish your prayer

Tap "Finish prayer" when you are done. You can finish before the time is up or long after.

Want a different prayer? Tap "Choose another prayer".

Keep a private prayer list

1. Tap "Prayer choices"
2. Tap "My prayer list"
3. Write what you want to pray for
4. Tap "Save note"

Your list is "Saved only on this device". Turning on "Back up my prayers" in Settings under "Account" includes it in that scrambled copy. See How do I sign in and save my progress?.

Prayer requests saved for today

If you're in a group and picked "When I pray today" for someone's prayer request, it shows up right here, above your own prayer. Tap it to pray for them, the same way as praying for someone's request.
